A new business quarter in the area closest to the M8, adjacent to Eurocentral has been created to reflect current market conditions, building a strong employment hub and resulting in excess of 2000+ jobs for the area (not including construction jobs).
The release of industrial development land will be necessary for the local and national market to alleviate the severe shortage of good quality buildings over 100,000sqft and a lack of supply of Grade ‘A’ development of this size and scale within the M8 corridor.
Eurocentral is a proven logistics location and Europark is a natural extension of Eurocentral with the potential to become Scotland’s big /mega box destination.
Europark should focus on development above
50,000sqft, more specifically in excess of 100,000sqft and up to 600,000sqft to
meet market requirements where there is currently an insufficient supply of new
stock to accommodate future mid – large box requirements.
